Crestron, a global leader in enterprise control and automation technology recently
announced it is launching DigitalMedia™ NVX and Avia™ DSP training courses across
The DigitalMedia™ NVX course will offer practical application examples on how to
implement an NVX solution using a dedicated network device. The award winning
DigitalMedia NVX Series, the latest ground breaking addition to Crestron’s extensive
family of DigitalMedia products, makes it possible to transmit stunning 4K60 4:4:4
HDR video over standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet, with zero latency. DigitalMedia NVX
Series provides an infinitely scalable network AV solution, from a simple point-to-point
setup, to thousands of endpoints, and requires only DM® NVX Series
The two-day workshop is aimed at integrators and technicians working with
DigitalMedia equipment and will provide the tools and skills required to deploy
systems in any size of project.
Neil Walton, training manager at Crestron EMEA comments: “The DM NVX course will
provide training in the design and installation of networked video and audio
distribution systems using Crestron DM NVX solutions. This will ensure that the
interaction between designer, installer, programmer and end user is considered in all
design decisions. At the core of this course are best practices for network
implementation including an in depth look at network architecture and configuration”.
On completion of this course, attendees will gain DM NVX certification and have the
skills and confidence to tackle any size of Crestron project involving DigitalMedia NVX.
In addition, on 11th October 2017, the company is offering Avia™ DSP training. This
course will provide the technical background required to dramatically simplify audio
programming, tuning, expansion and integration within common DSP applications.
Crestron’s new groundbreaking Avia DSPs and software tools are easy to configure,
control and expand. They feature high-performance AEC that meets the most
stringent professional standards on all 12 channels, audio conferencing via VoIP and
connectivity for video conferencing.
The one day intermediate workshop is intended for audio professionals and Crestron
programmers who design, or integrate systems with Avia DSPs.
Walton comments: “This course will enable attendees to use the Avia audio tool to
configure an Avia DSP live or offline. They will also be able to create and apply custom
channel strips and presets, tune and setup a room’s DSP system and configure
advanced functions such as DANTE audio network expansion and acoustic echo
In order to attend this course completion of Crestron’s online Avia Quick Start course
and Audinate Dante course is a prerequisite.
Both courses will run across EMEA and bookings can be done through the Crestron
