Filmed in 1996, “From Dusk Till Dawn” turned out to be a spring board to an international career for nearly all participants: for the leading actors George Clooney and Salma Hayek, for screenwriter Quentin Tarantino and also for the band Tito & Tarantula, which provided the film’s soundtrack.

The US group led by singer and guitarist Tito Larriva has since gained cult status. This was also obvious at the band’s celebrated concert in the sold-out “Alte Mälzerei” in Regensburg, Germany, on September 21st: Their mystic mix of tex- mex, rock and blues has not lost any of its magic. Earning the greatest applause of the night were the four songs from the “From Dusk Till Dawn” soundtrack – including “After Dark”.

The US cult rockers’ concert was also the premiere for a small stage detail: the stands from Gravity®, an Adam Hall Group brand. “The equipment immediately convinced me with its easy handling and stability,” says technician Roland Dachs. “The stands especially stood the test when it came to readjusting them into the perfect position for both artists and amplifiers – an important aspect for the ‘Mälze’’s rather tight stage.”

Roland Dachs was also taken by the Gravity® stands small, coloured detail, the “G” rings. “They allowed us to colour-code the stands, a really great idea,” he says and adds why: “This way we can identify the mic or drum stands at a glance. It makes our job easier.” The stand detail was also well received by the band’s tour technician, Jeff Herring: “Jeff was delighted – a huge compliment for us and the Gravity® stands.”
